Wave Surfaces

Bearing in mind it’s one week till Xmas I was more then impressed with the turn around and installation from Wave Surfaces.The installers had a nightmare day dealing with difficult jobs and arrived at 5pm to install my tops. Most companies would of rescheduled but I have nothing but respect for the two installers who came and carried out their work professionally without complaint well into the evening.Fair play to their level of customer service and looking after a client in the lead up to Xmas.

My builder used Wave Surfaces for install of cabinets and stone benchtops. I made a few changes with sink after contract and Wave were nothing but accomodating. So pleasant and quick to deal with.The install has been amazing and I am so happy with the outcome.

Sincere thanks to the Wave Surface team for transforming my old kitchen with new cabinetwork, benchtops and appliances. It was easy dealing with their team from the initial meeting to completion of the renovation. Very professional!

Bench is just OK. Does the job but could be so much better if they had paid attention to detail. Some large gaps to the wall (8-10mm) so we needed packing behind the glass splashback. Not as level as it should be - installers seemed in a hurry to get to next job. They were skimpy on the laminated 40mm section, which hardly touches the cabinet in places. The join between the slabs is at a funny angle - 90degrees would have been nice. And the two different slabs of engineered stone used (it's a long benchtop) don't match very well, one is noticeably darker than the other -- maybe from different batches? Overall, I got the feeling we weren't that important to them -- maybe focused on big commercial clients.

I was charged $150 for a site visit which took 2mins and was told that the money I paid would be taken off the account when they did the job. I went ahead and Wave Surfaces took my money and at the site visit I was told it would be about 3wks before they can do the work. Nearly 5 months later they still have not completed the work and they refuse to repay my deposit. After dozens of emails and telephone calls they would not give me a date.

Absolute shockers - stay well away. They were Ikea's subcontractor and installed a splash back in my kitchen. However, it wasn't properly sealed and now has holes in it. Despite a number of calls and emails from Ikea, they've not made contact to try and rectify the problem. The last time their work was an issue, we had the same problem with them completely ignoring phone calls and emails. Months later, when Charles finally came out, he said he couldn't think why it took so long to resolve a minor problem. What's the excuse this time Charles? Terrible.

I am building a 2 storey home and took my plans into Wave in January 2021 and was dealing with Charles.I wanted Corian throughout the house including the stairs.After many phone calls and receiving many excuses 6 months later I have not received a quote nor samples of Matt and gloss of the product. I even spoke to Larry who I found to be rude.Don’t waste your time with Wave. I have gone elsewhere and what BRILLIANT service I have received.AND have a massive Corian piece with Matt and Gloss sample

We have installed a new porcelain island and splash backs in our kitchen last week. Mark and Charles with their team have done a fantastic job. They are professional and take pride in what they do. We are extremely pleased with the work and can highly recommend Wave Surfaces. Thank you again for doing such a great job.

ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE never ever use this company!! over 12 months ago we had Wave Surfaces come out and design (make template) a granite benchtop for our pool bar. Within 1 day the granite all cracked. We contacted the stone wholesaler and he said it was faulty stone and that Wave should replace it. Well after over 6 months of emails and calls we finally got someone to come out to look at it. Then after more repeated calls and emails they sent some guy out to putty up the cracks! Then the mitre edge cracks up and falls off, coincidentally off course where the cracks in the bench top were! So then after another 6 months of repeated calls, I even went to their showroom to try to get some service. They finally send someone out to glue the broken pieces of granite back together to make the mitre edge - seriously this is dodgy. Well then low and behold within days it falls off again. We managed to get them out one more time to glue it up while we went away for Xmas 2016. Now weekly calls, no one will help, no one will return my calls. They demand you pay in advance but when the job absolutely sucks what recourse do we have? Next step will be a letter from our lawyer and complaints to all the relevant authorities! Don't ever waste your money on this company!

Charles and the team at Wave Surfaces designed and built my new bathroom vanities along with laundry tub and bench with waterfall end. The Corian tops and cabinets look great! Very good quality workmanship, helpful and great to deal with from design to installation!
